Before you elect to return your product, please note that we offer three solutions: replacements, discounts and finally, returns.
Replacements
Under our guarantee, we will replace orders for many reasons, including:
- we made a typo
- we sent you the wrong product
- we did not send you your full order
- you made a mistake during the checkout and did not notice it in the order confirmation
- the order arrived damaged
Please note that replacements are only covered for orders under $1500 or for which a proof was not provided, so please do pay extra attention to these scenarios. Our goal is to make online printing easy, safe and efficient so we strive to make your experience with our store a pleasant one. Replacements are processed as priority orders and shipped as soon as possible. Occasionally, we can overnight the replacement order to make up for unnecessary delays encountered on our part. If, however, you do not care for a replacement for whatever reason, we can certainly discount or refund your order.
Partial Refunds
Although we can replace your order or refund your purchase price, you may also elect to keep the order and receive a partial refund instead.
Reasons to request a partial refund may include:
- we sent you triplicate forms but you only need duplicates
- we made a typo that you can live with (ex: a word in your term section is misspelled - - as opposed to a misprinted phone number which would most certainly require a replacement)
- a portion of the order was damaged
- the starting number is wrong
Discounts will vary from 5 to 50% depending on the severity of the issue.
Orders can be cancelled as long as they have not been printed or shipped. If printed, a discount or refund can be offered, depending on the case. If shipped, you can also refuse the delivery or mail the order back for a refund.
You may cancel your order by phone, email, or by creating a ticket.

We accept the following methods of payment:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
- ACH
- PayPal, which may allow you to set up a payment plan or financing
We do not accept:
- Prepaid credit cards
- Debit cards
- Wire transfers
You can pay for your order before, during, or after it is processed, depending on your needs and account status.
1. Paying Before Your Order Is Processed
You may pay upfront if you want your order to move forward immediately. You can:
- Pay online during checkout
- Request a payment link to be emailed to you
This is the most common option, especially for new customers or time-sensitive orders.
2. Paying During Processing
If your order requires a proof before production, you may wait to pay until you have reviewed and approved the proof.
At that time, you can request a payment link by email. Once payment is received and the proof is approved, we will proceed with production.
3. Paying After Your Order Ships
If you have been approved for credit, you may request to be invoiced and pay after your order has shipped.
Credit approval is required before this payment option is available.
Once approved, we can accept a purchase order and invoice you for the order.
Applications are typically reviewed within two weeks and a credit limit is established during that timeframe.
4. Split Payments and Financing
For added flexibility, you may be able to split your payment or use PayPal financing to pay over time.
These options can help you manage the cost of your order using the payment method that works best for you.
Design Questions
Top 5 questionsAlthough this is a simple question, this answer is not so evident.
- Pre-set products: adding a logo in the ink color choice available during checkout does not cost extra. However, if you want to order a product that only comes in black ink and your logo is red and black, we will provide you with a quote for a custom two-ink color product
- Custom products: since the price varies depending on the ink color(s) used, the logo will cost extra if it is in color
- Full color products: since the price includes any and all colors, the logo will not cost extra

Artwork and/or images must always be at 300 dpi (dots per inch) in resolution or the print will be blurry and/or pixelated.
Even though an image may print fine on an office printer, presses are more accurate and the final result will be pixelated if the resolution of the file is too low.
To check a file's resolution, open it with one of the software below and follow the instructions given for that software.
All logos and files provided for custom printing should be at 300 dpi.

Although we can expedite an order AFTER it has been placed, it is not recommended. If you need an order by a certain date, please do mention it in the comments and we will contact you if we anticipate any delays. If you would like to add a rush to an eligible product upon ordering, here are the options available:
Stock products cannot be rushed.
SOME items have a production rush. There is a next day rush and same day rush.
Orders need to be in the system before 11am EST.
There is currently no list of items that have this option, so the request must be made on a case-by-case scenario.
Pre-set checks can be rushed.
They would ship the next business day as long as the order gets to production before 5pm EST.
If there is a logo, checks would ship within 48 hours.
If a rush charge is available on a custom product (made from scratch with your entire design), it will ship according to the item's rush specifications listed on the website. If none is listed, please feel free to contact us to ask for specifics.
The shipping method can be expedited on all orders, however. Keep in mind that a product ordered with Next Day Air shipping will still require processing time, meaning that you will not receive the order the next day. Products that are not printed will still take a minimum of up to 2 days to ship.
When you place an order with us, you are covered by the best guarantee in the printing industry! We provide full credit, replacement or refund, including any shipping charges, for products found to contain errors made by us or for pre-designed products not printed with supplied electronic files. For more information, visit our guarantee policy.

Proof Questions
Top 5 questionsTime until you receive a proof
The following estimates begin once your order has been placed:
- Pre-set product, no logo: 2 business days
- Pre-set product with logo: 4 business days
- Custom product: 4 business days
- Full color product: 2 business days
Time until your order ships after proof approval
Estimated production times after the proof has been approved:
- Product customized online, no logo: 2-3 business days
- Product customized online with a logo: 1-3 business days
- Product using your own design: 2-6 business days
- Full color product: 1-3 business days
Proofs may be compressed versions of the original production file. Compression can make the proof appear lower in resolution.
The proof is intended for reviewing the text, spelling, placement, and layout. Its appearance does not reflect the print quality of the finished product.
Estimated production times after proof approval are:
- Pre-set products: 1-3 business days
- Custom products: 2-6 business days
- Full color products: 1-3 business days
Shipping time must be added to the production time and will depend on the shipping method selected.
Product Options
Top 5 questionsStock products are products that:
- Are never customized; they are taken off the shelf, packed, and shipped
- Ship within 48 hours
Examples of stock products include stamps with a pre-defined message, plain envelopes, check binders, and real estate folders.
Even when an item is pre-printed, such as a real estate folder, it is still considered a stock product if it is not customized.
Pre-set products are:
- Usually pre-printed. Some products may also be plain, such as envelopes without any printing.
- Crash-printed or customized with your information.
- Restricted to certain print areas, ink colors, font choices, and in some cases, layout options.
- Referenced by distinct item numbers rather than general product names such as "notepads."
- Available with an online preview during checkout.
- Eligible for a proof at no charge. Proofs are less commonly requested because an online preview is available. If requested, the proof will show only the personalized portion.
- Eligible for rush service on checks and some other products on a case-by-case basis, typically with a 1–2 business day turnaround.
Because these products are crash-printed, the printing is applied using pressure. For example, a triplicate product printed in blue ink may be blue on the top copy but black on the second and third copies. Custom products, on the other hand, may be printed in blue on all three copies.
Logo Choices
Most pre-set products offer a choice of a custom logo or one of our pre-designed logos.
For more information on submitting a custom logo or creating a custom imprint, review our logo requirements and artwork guidelines.
Font Choices
Most pre-set products offer a selection of fonts. Not all fonts are available on every product, so the best way to see the available options is to add the product to your cart and begin checkout.
If you require a font that is not offered, we may be able to create a custom imprint. A custom imprint is an image created by our art department using the requested font.
Extra Lines of Print
Some pre-set products allow you to ADD information. Existing information cannot be REMOVED or ALTERED because these products are pre-printed.
When additional lines are available, they may be placed in different areas depending on the product. Extra lines are commonly used for terms, itemization, or additional information about products and services.
The additional charge applies to the complete block of text rather than to each individual line.
Changes and Aterations
Existing information cannot be removed or altered on pre-set products because they are pre-printed.
Envelopes may not be pre-printed, but they are still limited to specific print areas or layouts that cannot always be changed.
Many products are also available through our custom printing department and can be quoted separately. This allows for a much wider range of design and printing options.
Layouts
Some pre-set products offer a choice of layouts. Layouts are generally designed for specific placement needs.
If none of the available layouts meets your requirements, a custom product may be better suited to your needs.
Ink Colors
Pre-set products may be personalized in one, two, and sometimes three ink colors. Common choices include black, blue, and red, although other colors may be available depending on the product.
When two ink colors are available, the first color is often used for the company name or logo and the second for the remaining text.
Specific printing instructions can be provided during checkout in the "Additional Instructions" section.
Proofs
Proofs can be requested during checkout.
They are less commonly requested for products using plain text because the online checkout preview generally provides a clear representation of the personalized portion.
Online Preview
The online preview is a graphic tool that provides a representation of the ordered product, but it is not intended to be an exact production proof.
Each order is reviewed by our printing experts before production, so minor corrections may be made to punctuation, typographical errors, or uploaded artwork when appropriate.
If clarification is required, our printing team will contact you before proceeding.
Choosing the right format for custom carbonless business forms is important. The best format depends on how you plan to use them.
Manual business forms are designed to be written on by hand.
Computer business forms are designed to be printed using compatible software and a printer.
Manual Business Forms - Formats
Glued-Edge Forms
Individual multipart form sets are glued together along one edge. Each set can be separated and used individually, making this format a simple choice for forms that do not need to be bound into books.
Snapset Forms
Multipart form sets are joined together and include a perforated stub along the top. The stub helps hold the copies together and can be detached after the form is completed.
Wrap-Around Books
Forms are bound into books with a wrap-around cover. The cover can be placed beneath the form being written on to help prevent information from transferring onto the unused sets below.
Snapset Forms with Claim Check or Tag
These forms use a snapset-style perforated stub and include an additional detachable claim check, receipt, or tag at the bottom of the form.
Register Forms
Multipart forms are designed with holes near the top so they can be used in a compatible forms register or writing machine. The register helps align and hold the form in position while it is being completed.
Wrap-Around Books with Double Stub
These forms are bound into wrap-around books and include detachable perforated sections at both the top and bottom of the form. This format is useful when additional stubs, receipts, or recordkeeping sections are needed.
Computer Business Forms - Formats
Laser Forms
Loose multipart forms designed for use with compatible laser or inkjet printers. They do not have tractor-feed holes along the sides and are generally fed through the printer as individual sheets.
Continuous Forms
Continuous multipart forms have tractor-feed holes along both sides and are designed for use with compatible dot matrix or impact printers. The forms feed continuously through the printer rather than as individual sheets.
Custom products, sometimes referred to as products printed with your own design, are created from scratch based on artwork provided by you or prepared by our graphic department.
Unlike pre-set products, which are already printed and limited to specific customization areas, custom products are produced specifically for your order. This gives you much greater control over the overall design, layout, and printing.
Custom products:
- Are printed from scratch using your artwork or a design created by our graphic department
- Can be printed using one, two, or three PMS spot colors, or infull color using CMYK
- Offer extensive design flexibility, with restrictions generally limited only by the product or printing process itself
- Require a quote so the product specifications and available options can be confirmed
- May include options such as numbering, back printing, bleeds, perforations, and plate changes
- Require artwork or a rough draft to be submitted with the order
- Include a proof of the complete product on new orders and reorders with changes
- Are eligible for rush production
Because custom products are printed specifically for your order, each sheet or piece is printed and then finished, padded, bound, or assembled as required.
For example, a three-part carbonless form printed in blue ink can be printed in blue on all three copies. This differs from some pre-set products, where the top copy may be printed in blue while the information on the remaining copies is transferred in black through pressure.
Spot-color printing is generally used when a design requires one, two, or three specific ink colors. Each ink color is mixed and printed separately.
Full-color printing uses CMYK process printing and is better suited for artwork containing photographs, gradients, multiple colors, or complex graphics.
Not every product supports every printing method. Some products have production restrictions that may limit the number of colors, available bleeds, binding methods, or other options.
Custom products offer significantly more flexibility than pre-set products. Depending on the product, available options may include:
- Custom layouts
- Logos and graphics
- Custom fonts and typography
- One, two, or three PMS spot colors
- Full-color CMYK printing
- Numbering
- Back printing
- Bleeds
- Perforations
- Plate changes
- Custom finishing or binding options
A plate change may be required when one copy or section of a product must print differently from another and requires a separate printing plate.
Processing Time Questions
Top 2 questionsCurrent estimated rush production times by product category:
- Business checks customized online: 24–48 hours.
- Custom products: 1 business day for the proof, then 2-6 business days after proof approval. Please refer to the specific product page for more details.
- Full color products: Processing times vary by product. Please refer to the specific product page.
The only product that may qualify for next-business-day delivery is a business check customized online and submitted with a paid rush service by 5:00 PM Eastern Time. UPS Next Day Air shipping must also be selected during checkout. Eligibility depends on the order meeting all production requirements.

Product Questions
Top 5 questionsStandard paper door hangers are not weatherproof. Their durability depends on the paper selected and the conditions in which they are distributed. They should be placed securely and protected from rain whenever possible.
For greater outdoor durability, select an available synthetic mil stock. Synthetic door hangers are water and tear-resistant, making them better suited to damp conditions and outdoor distribution. However, prolonged exposure to severe weather or direct sunlight may eventually affect the printed appearance.

If your staff stamps documents throughout the day, a self-inking stamp typically provides the best combination of speed, durability, and ease of use. If your design includes a logo, signature, or fine detail where print quality is the top priority, a pre-inked stamp delivers the cleanest, most professional impression.
No matter which style you choose, custom office rubber stamps help streamline workflows, improve consistency, and reduce the time spent handwriting repetitive information.
At Smart Resolution, we offer custom office stamps in a variety of sizes and styles, personalized with your business name, address, logo, signatures, dates, or custom messaging to meet your daily office needs.
How to Refill Pre-Inked Stamps
- Separate the top from the stamp's base

With so many business card options available, the paper you choose can make a significant difference in how your brand is perceived.
Below is a helpful guide to understanding the main types of paper features so you can select the perfect business card stock for your needs.
Paper Thickness or Weight
The thickness or weight of the paper helps communicate a certain feel or level of quality.
How Thickness Works
Business card thickness is commonly measured in points (pt):
- 14 pt. – A standard, durable card stock
- 16 pt. – Thicker, sturdier, more premium
A heavier stock often feels more professional and substantial. For example:
- A construction company may prefer a thicker, heavier stock
- A boutique or lingerie brand may prefer a lighter, softer-feeling card
Paper Weight (lbs)
Some printers measure paper in pounds (lb) instead of points. Common business card weights include:
- 80 lb. cover stock
- 100 lb. cover stock
Both systems describe how thick and solid the paper feels in your hand.
Paper Texture
Texture also plays a big role in the overall impression of your card.
Smooth Finish
A smooth finish is a great choice when you want:
- A clean, classic look
- Crisp, sharp text
- Ink colors that reproduce evenly
Textured Finishes
Textured papers add elegance and personality. Common textured business card papers include:
- Linen – A subtle woven texture
- Laid – Horizontal ridges for a handcrafted feel
- Strathmore – A rich, premium woven texture
These textures often feel more refined and can elevate your professional image.
Paper Color
Most business cards are printed on bright white paper for the best color accuracy. However, you can choose from other tones depending on the mood you want to convey:
- Natural or cream – A softer, more traditional look
- Off-white – Gentle and understated
- Bright white – Clean, modern, and excellent for full-color printing
Keep in mind: Colored papers may affect how ink colors appear, especially lighter shades.
Paper Finish
The finish of your card influences both appearance and durability.
Glossy Finish
- Makes colors vibrant and eye-catching
- Adds shine and glare
- More resistant to smudges
- Great for designs with photos or bold graphics
Matte Finish
- Smooth, non-reflective surface
- Professional and understated
- Easier to write on
- Excellent for minimalist or text-focused designs
Choose glossy if you want high impact; choose matte for a clean, polished look.
Sustainability
If environmental responsibility is important to you or your company, consider choosing eco-friendly paper:
- Recycled stock – Made from post-consumer materials
- Sustainably sourced paper – From responsibly managed forests
- Soy- or vegetable-based inks – A greener alternative to petroleum inks
These options allow you to maintain professionalism while reducing your environmental footprint.
