Yes. While it began as a brand name, the term is now commonly used to describe carbonless business forms. NCR can therefore stand for “No Carbon Required.”

Our carbonless (NCR) forms are available in a variety of paper sequences. Common combinations include White/Canary, White/Canary/Pink, and White/Canary/Pink/Goldenrod for 2-part through 4-part forms. Depending on the product, additional paper color combinations are also available. Different colored copies make it easy to distribute forms to customers, accounting, shipping, and internal departments.

Carbonless forms (also called NCR forms) create multiple copies as you write without using carbon paper. They are commonly available in 2-part, 3-part, 4-part, and even 5-part configurations, making them ideal for invoices, receipts, service reports, work orders, and delivery documentation.

Nearly every industry uses custom printed carbonless business forms. Contractors, healthcare providers, automotive repair shops, transportation companies, manufacturers, educational institutions, government agencies, financial organizations, property managers, wholesalers, retailers, and professional service firms rely on custom forms to document transactions and streamline operations every day.

The number of parts depends on how many copies you need. Two-part forms are commonly used for customer and office copies, while three-part and four-part forms provide additional copies for accounting, shipping, project files, or management. Whenever more than the original sheet is required, yes, carbonless NCR paper will be used.

Laser checks and forms can curl in certain conditions. To prevent this, you may take the following steps:

• Store your documents in an air-conditioned or climate-controlled environment. The ideal storage environment is 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit with no more than 45-55% humidity.
• If you move your documents to an environment with a different temperature or humidity, let them sit 24 hours to acclimate to the new environment before you print.
• Store your laser documents flat in their original inner carton. Do not stack other items on top.
• Completely fill the printer tray, even if you are only printing a few documents.
• Fan the paper to remove static before you load it into the printer.
• Keep your printer maintained as it will also help reduce paper feeding and jamming issues.
  
  

Absolutely. A fixed dollar amount may be added to some receipt designs using an available extra line. This option places the extra text within an available printing area but cannot always be positioned in a specific location. Creating your own artwork, however, allows for complete freedom.

Yes. A custom receipt layout is appropriate when the available templates do not include the fields, wording or organization your business requires. Your design can include sections for customer information, products or services, payment details, signatures, terms and other transaction-specific information.
