Yes. Most of our envelopes can be personalized with your company logo, business name, return address, contact information, promotional message, or other branding elements.
The right envelope depends on what you're mailing. #10 envelopes are the standard choice for business correspondence and folded letter-size documents. #9 envelopes are commonly used as reply envelopes, while booklet and catalog envelopes accommodate larger documents without folding. If you're unsure which size you need, our team can help you select the best option.
Yes. We offer a variety of single-window and double-window envelopes designed for invoices, statements, payroll, tax documents, and other business mailings. Some of our two-window envelopes are specifically designed to align with compatible business forms, ensuring addresses appear correctly for a faster and more efficient mailing process.
Security envelopes feature a printed security tint on the inside that helps prevent sensitive information from being visible through the paper. They are commonly used for payroll checks, invoices, financial statements, tax documents, and confidential business correspondence. They are also called confidential envelopes.
Depending on the product, business envelopes are available in white wove, bright white, kraft, recycled, and other premium paper stocks. Many products are also available with security tinting, peel-and-seal closures, or traditional gummed flaps.
Yes. We offer envelopes printed in black ink, one or more PMS spot colors, and full-color (CMYK) printing on many products. Full-color printing is ideal for showcasing logos or graphics, while spot colors provide excellent color consistency for corporate branding.
Custom business envelopes are used by virtually every industry, including law firms, accounting offices, healthcare providers, financial institutions, schools, manufacturers, nonprofit organizations, insurance agencies, contractors, government offices, retailers, and professional service businesses.
Absolutely. Many customers order matching envelopes with their letterhead, invoices, business forms, checks, or marketing materials to create a consistent and professional brand identity across all printed communications. Those envelopes are available within our letterhead section.
Yes. We offer remittance envelopes designed for donations, payments, fundraising campaigns, invoices, churches, nonprofit organizations, and membership renewals. Most can be customized with mailing addresses, reply instructions, and payment information, while our custom option allows for complete design freedom.
Yes. You can upload print-ready artwork, customize one of our templates, or have our design team create a professional envelope layout that matches your business and existing printed materials. While some envelopes restrict the location of your customization, our cutom option lets you design the entire envelope from scratch.
Consider the size of your documents, the volume of mail you send, whether you need a window or security tint, your preferred closure style, how many colors you would like printed, and your budget. If you're unsure, our team is happy to recommend the best envelope for your organization based on your mailing needs.

Most business envelopes cannot be printed with full bleeds (printing that extends to the edge of the envelope) and require a small unprinted margin around the edges to ensure consistent print quality.

If your project requires full-bleed printing or a custom envelope design, we may be able to provide a quote for custom envelope conversion. This process involves manufacturing the envelope from a printed flat sheet, allowing for greater design flexibility, including edge-to-edge printing or unique envelope colors. Contact our team with your artwork and specifications to discuss your project and receive a custom quote.

As a rule of thumb, all products that have had glue applied to them (carbonless forms, labels, self-seal envelopes, etc...) should be stored in an air-conditioned or climate-controlled environment. The ideal storage environment is 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit with no more than 45-55% humidity.

Barcodes

Top 5 questions
Yes. A USPS barcode can be included in your custom envelope design to help with automated mail processing. If you need to generate a barcode, USPS provides an online Encoder/Decoder tool.
A USPS Intelligent Mail® barcode can help USPS process and route eligible mail more efficiently. Many business envelopes can accommodate a barcode, but the correct barcode and placement depend on the envelope size, mailing type, address layout, and USPS mailing requirements.

Many standard business envelopes can accommodate a USPS barcode, but not every envelope or layout should be treated the same.

USPS requirements differ depending on whether the finished mailpiece qualifies as a letter, flat, or another mailpiece type. Window envelopes also have specific requirements concerning the position of the address and barcode.

For qualifying letter-size mail, an Intelligent Mail barcode may generally be placed:

  • In the address block, or
  • In the USPS barcode area near the lower-right portion of the mailpiece.

The exact location, clear space, dimensions, and print quality must meet USPS requirements. USPS defines the barcode clear zone for letter-size pieces as the lower-right area extending 4¾ inches from the right edge and ⅝ inch from the bottom edge.

For flat-size mail, different barcode placement requirements apply.

Barcodes may be used with qualifying window envelopes. However, the address and barcode must remain properly positioned and visible through the window even when the insert moves inside the envelope. USPS requires adequate clear space around the address and barcode.

Booklet envelopes have the opening along the longer side, making them ideal for brochures, booklets, reports, and marketing materials. Catalog envelopes open along the shorter side and are commonly used for thicker documents, contracts, manuals, and larger paperwork that requires extra durability.
